Manual Edited Scenario Text for Amagami PSP Game

Overall I think this translation is easy to understand, still not perfect but, I can easily read it and understand the story progression, so please enjoy it guys. and have a good laugh when the MC (Junichi) or  Umehara The Best Man getting called as girl.



Changed:

*. Remove many duplicate phrases with distance less than 10 and length of  at least 10 chars, using levenshtein algorithm.

*. Generalized gender for person as subject and person as object in sentence to feminine, so the MC and Umehara could be called she, girl, and her, since I'm too lazy to fix all of it based on the context of conversation.

*. Change "Mr." to "san", for example Mr. Ayatsuji become Ayatsuji-san to make sentence make more sense with gender neutral title.


Not Done:

Translation for "Pick Topic/Conversation with girl" part of the game, still stuck when importing to AMAGAMI.IMG, I will just enjoy this part using OBS Studio virtual camera - Nox emulator - Google Translate Android App Trick for now.


If you want to use this trick, just load original Amagami ebKore+ iso like this "eb_Collection_Plus_Amagami_JPN_PSP-Caravan.7z" from https://cdromance.com/psp/amagami-ebkore-english/ to make sure the kanji is readable by google translate android app, after the "Pick Topic/Conversation with girl" part is complete just save the game and load the mtl amagami iso and then load the game, this way you can enjoy more accurate translation.

    hello, thank you for doing this. if possible, could you try to make a ps2 version? i know i can emulate, but i have an actual ps2 and i like ripping games to dvds and playing them on my crt. never liked emulating, everything loses all the soul.

      Sorry, I have no plan to translate the ps2 version for now, probably other can try this kind of translation, by the way the machine translator I use is DeepL, since it give the best result, the process is quite simple since the extracted text is in xml format, just take the original text from xml and hit translate API to get the translated text, rinse and repeat.
      The hard part is manually clean up translation error, conversation context, etc.

      Probably after I complete play the PSP version, I might try the ps2 version and translate it, I will update here in the time.

      Thats strange, I able to complete Kaoru, Nanasaki, and Ayatsuji best ending without problem, can you send me the screenshot before the game freeze, I will try to fix it, now I'm re-playing Ayatsuji to get hidden ending,

    hey thanks for the contribution but I have a problem in the nakata route in the last weeks when I try to save the game the game freezes but the music is still heard in the background.

      i had the same problem here the solution from MTL
      The solution i could give is use the japanese original iso like "eb_Collection_Plus_Amagami_JPN_PSP-Caravan.7z" from https://cdromance.com/psp/amagami-ebkore-english/ and complete that problematic event, save your game and use the MTL iso again, so that event will be skipped, after that You can try to replay that event from scane replay menu, it could be work

    Hey, great work! I have question. How do you configure nox or obs, so nox pick up what obs transmite? I launched virtual camera on OBS but on NOX i still have some weird colors.
